Dear all,
I wish all of g-club members may have a Merry X'mas and a happy new year.
2009 was a great year to start with " bicycle emblems and signages" very historical event for
all riders, and I am quite sure that 2010 will be a more exciting year followed by several
events.
I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to g-club who made me a big change from a "bicycle polisher"
to a real rider on the road.
Best wishes,
Susumu
below link was the coverage from The Star (Metro North) regarding yesterday's event.

cheers
it is indeed a big X'mas present for the Penang cyclists. Let's propel the awareness to the next level, perhaps G Club can print some luminous "Share The Road" bumper stickers and raise more fund for the campaign. Organising more "ride for a course" or charity rides will definitely increase the profile of G Club and Penang.
Cheers ( Ride Safe, Live Strong )

Some interesting bumper stickers here.

Diana, I like this one !!!!
I have done up a few of the stickers and they are in Power Point files. How do I post it up here??
Got it finally. Thanks to daniel and seehui :)
Thanks Jason for the effort. I hv asked eng cheong to email you our logos soft copy.
Hi Nightrider,
I can see your enthusiasm and talent in both cycling and design. Very good efforts ! Hope one day G club will evolve into an environmental NGO. Besides cycling, we can promote "Tree Planting" by organising fund raising ride. Each time when I ride along Batu feringgi/ T Bahang, I always wonder where all the scenic coconut palm trees have gone. Let's bring back the tropical island of yesteryear ! My children can't believe that until early 80s, Penang was more popular than Phuket, Ko Samui, Krabi and etc.
Looking forward to buying the G Club "Share The Road" bumper stickers !
Cheers

Hahaha! Yes, that's a good one Daniel!
ps. I was going to 'copy n paste' some of the images like you did but didn't know how.:(
I know its a bit tricky trying to cut and paste picture to pbb. This is the quickiest way-
1) Go to the source, select the image by pressing down SHIFT key and the ARROW DOWN key. The selected image sould be shaded in light blue(this depends on the type of browser). Then press Ctrl C to copy the image to your pc's memory
2) Go to your destination page, start up the editor, position your cursor and press Ctrl V to paste the image
3) This part can be a bit tricky because you may end up copying a lot more than what you wanted.
The other method is more long winded. It allows you to save the image as a file on your pc.
1) Go to the source, right click your mouse and select "Save image as". This will allow you to save the image as a file
2) Next go to the destination, open up the editor and click Insert/Edit image(tree symbol), a small window pops up
3) Under Image URL, click Browse button, a larger window pops up. (sometimes this window takes a bit longer to load)
4) Select Upload and then Browse. Select the file that you saved previously. Click Upload and when the image appears on the bottom right panel click Send to Tiny mce (name of the editor is Tiny mce)
I shall give that a try.
Definitely in support of bumper stickers. I was already thinking of making them myself. Along with the GClub sticker.
jason would you like to take charge of this project. Come out with a nice design and we will try to come out with the funds to print it. We can distribute to cyclists who care.
I am proof reading it 3x, lest, Fudge reprimand me again :-))). BTW I have corrected the typo errors.
look368,
I'll see what I can come out with. Maybe a few designs to see if it works or not.
Excellent idea!

See you there!

Dear look368,
I would like to purchase a G Club official T-shirt if it's still available.
Any plans of making a G Club riding jersey in future? It would be nice to have our members wearing it during our monthly rides.
Thank you.
Best regards,
wusolow
Get your friends, cyclists or otherwise to come. Spread the good news. We are launching the first bicycle signage to foster friendlier and safer cycling.
The more the merrier.
appreciate if all postings be proofread 3 times before sending out, 2 major obvious spelling/typo error for BICYLCE and 'fpr the end of the month'
Hi look368,
I would like to know where I can get a G club official T-shirt or a Campaign for a lane T-shirt since it has been written that that is the required attire if one is to attend the official launching.
TQ,
Wayne
Hi Wayne, those t shirts are from last October ride. You can come in any decent clothing for the launch. See you Sunday.
