Adren, Chris, Ahmad (Adren's buddy) and I took this as a recovery ride. We took an easy pace up to the 800m sign board before we adjourned to the coffeeshop at Teluk Bahang for my much needed carbo load in the shape of Lo Mee. I reached my Prai Garden home at around 12.30 noon.
We talked about plans to join the Ipoh Century Ride, PCC IS2010 and will start training plans. The first ride will be to Sg Petani. Riding distance should be in the range of 100 ~ 160km depending on route taken. I will publish the ride plan soon. For those who are interested in joining the the roadie events that I mentioned, you are invited to join our training rides. I don't have the plan yet. But it will basically be a roadie training ride. Will keep the members here posted.
Oh, not forget to mention that we met few riders at the stop. We parted way when Dr and the gang decided to go to Pantai Aceh.
Traffic was good and roads quieter, far less volume compared over the Christmas-New Year stretch, and what a wonderful day as its not hot at all, with cooling clouds above, overall a great little spin to Pantai Acheh. Oddly enough the bikes had a light white dust coating, presumably cement dust from roadside repairs.
