Greenlane to Tk Bahang on MTB

Hi Muse. Don't mind if I call you Muse coz your call sign is too long to spell out. I have been riding the greenlane-tk bahang route-greenlane during my weekday rides. Sometimes once a week, sometimes twice. I like the route coz it gives me a mixture of gradients and love the distance totalling 47km. You can join me on weekday rides to Tk Bahang too. I am on my Scott MTB. Unfortunately I am out of action for now for another two weeks. I had an accident (hit-n-run) and recuperating from wounds and swelling. I will let you know when I get back into cycling again.

Got Ang Pows

Hi Daniel. It was not serious. Only suffered abrasions and some swelling on left ankle, knee and shoulder. But the teruk one is the left toe nail. Came off during the fall. I was going back home from Yoga class at Sg Dua. Turning left, I headed to Gelugor along Jln Sultan Azlan Shah. After passing the overhead pedestrian bridge I noticed a WGQ plate gold Honda City coming at high speed from right, cutting in to the left without signal lights on my lane and hit the emergency brakes. I also hit the emergency brakes but could not control my motorbike when the car scraped my bike's front tyre. Thus I fell. Another motorbike with piilion banged on my bike from behind and she also fell. The piilion had no injuries but the rider suffered some cuts but not serious. None of us saw the full number plate of the Honda City. He chickened out after hitting someone down and caused pain and suffering to the victim. I am recovering from the abrasions and I hope my toe nail will heal faster. Went home with the wrong type of ang pows and had lots of comments from my mom.:-)

Hi Peter,

It was lucky that you did not get injured much except your toe and other parts of your body' pain.

Anything may happen when riding motorbic or bicycle, however no one knows when ?

My wife has a Honda city ,but not gold, so you can trust it's not my wife who run away.

Oh gosh, Posh......... be careful whenever you are on TWO wheels. That's why I prefer to wear shoes instead of sandals wherever I go. It gives our feet added protection.

So we'll miss you from the riding scene until you recover, hopefully soon.

Hi Papa Husky. Appreciate your concern and oso from the rest of the guys out there. Was nice of Susumu San to call me to enquire how I was doing. It's only my toe that I am more concern coz I can't wear shoes for another 1-2 weeks. It's still bleeding plasma and hope it will get well soon. I will definitely be out of action for quite some time, not sure for how long. Sure will inform you guys here when I am ready to ride again. BTW, I will be following the peloton tonight, lead my Raymond. I will meet them at Bayan Baru bicycle shop (Kah Kheng, I think) at 9:30pm.

Why need only road bike buddy? Can't cycle with MTB kakis meh? We're all on motor-less 2 wheels. If you can cycle faster, go ahead. But we won't be too far behind and we will reach Teluk Bahang too.
