George Town, Penang Attention everyone!! All roads leading to Esplanade will be closed from 8am to 7pm this Sat & Sun for Go Penang International. (1) Road block will be set up at Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah's City Bayview Hotel / Honda junction. No vehicle beyond that junction (2) Total road closure for Lebuh Light, Jalan Tun Syed Sheh Barakbah and Jalan Padang Kota Lama. Sorry for the inconvenient.

Wow , this time the teluk bahang g-club ride should be a big number , a gang . from the 2nd teluk bahang gclub ride 10 people to now at least 30++ people . a great number improve ! Hope more will join future coming teluk bahang ride .
during the G Club meeting last night, the SAFETY RIDE CAMPAIGN were discussed at length among all the 16 members. We will be organizing a 1 day event to create safety awareness among the road users.
it was also agreed that the safety awareness should start IMMEDIATELY via G Club organised rides.
as such, all perticipants for the upcoming G Club Bahang Ride, followed by all future G Club rides, you are required to wear a helmet when riding with us. if you do not have 1, please get one.
you will be stopped from riding together with us if you are not wearing one. hope all will cooperate and follow this simple safety rule and set a 'standard' for all other groups to follow.

r u sam? no many recumbent kaki in penang as far as i know, would love to know more about recumbent, especially interested in the trike and crank forward ( semi recumbent such as tartaruga ). hope to see you during the ride!

Where are you staying ? I'm staying near the turf club , maybe we can cycle together to G hotel . I can wait you at the traffic light of the conjunction of the Union high school and cycle together to g hotel .
im stayin near the air itam market. i have been joinin the t.bahang for twice ady, but im a slow rider. normally im cycling alone to g hotel. im almost stop cycling for 2months ady. that's y im not sure i got stamina to finish this ride or not. im still confuse wanna join this ride or not. i think i wil let u know this saturday im joinin or not. but anyway im happy to hear tat u wanna wait me together cycling to g hotel.

Just come. You have riden the T Bahang ride twice already so you should know your capabilities. Don't worry about being slow. Just come and join. Don't worry about your stamina too. Just make sure you take some food before you start to give you some much needed energy. A bunch of bananas would be good. Haha! When you see the whole bunch of friendly cyclists your body will not feel any pain or aches anymore.

p.s. jwbiker is a very FAST rider. just a warning. haha!

There are at least 20 MTB kaki from sg ara joined the RUN. Some of them are strong kaki. I think I will skip most of the Jamboree this year except the KAYUH LASAK...hahaha...Just enjoy the ride...

Looks like this coming Bahang ride, we may hv 2 grps the "all out grp" who will only get their endorphins high can pace Richard who I assume with be riding at top speed. And the second main grp would have the comfort of the RELA securities. I will be proceeding to Pantai Acheh after reachin Tlk Bahang. Hopefully some of u guys will join me

I got someone asked me the coordinates of G Hotel. For the benefit of someone who still does not know where G-Hotel is, I have helped to update the event page with the location coordinates as per request(N5°26.269' E100°18.622').

Since our webmaster, Daniel has incorporated this "signup" feature for event, it wud be great if we cud make use of it. Noticed we hv 8 signups now. At least we knows if our pals are coming or not and if the crowd going to be exciting or not!! So lets practise signing up, guys. And also there is a very important feature that our webmaste has incoporated in it. It is call the " signup broadcast" . With this feature, event leader could broadcast or send any latest information like sudden change in plan to all those who signups via email.
That is why it wud be great if we cud start to sign up when we are joining an event.

Are you cycling like the speed of light from lip sin to G hotel?? My god,trying to keep up with a trek bike is not easy.Hope to join with u to cycle slowly to G Hotel at speed less than 40Km/H.

I thot there is only 1 supertanker, the one in LipSin.
Usually cycling there early morning is fun but going back the sun is up and can be very hot.
